1945 (26 Aug.) special P.O.W. card from Capt. John Fairbairn to his mother-in-law, bearing U.S. "2326" and Indian "CHA/3" censor handstamps. The message includes the fact that he had lost 3½ stone in weight and was in a hurry to catch the plane which was leaving with the more ill prisoners. Send shortly after their liberation.
