France comprehensive collection to 1983 in three Lighthouse hingeless albums, the 19th century is mostly used and carries a very high catalog value, with often more than one example of the better stamps, for instance in the 1849 Issue there are three of the 15c and four of the 1Fr, in the 1853 Issue there are two of the 1Fr value, the 20th century is nearly all mint and exceptionally well filled and contains many better sets and singles such as the 1900 2Fr Gray violet and yellow, the Le Havre overprint, all three of the 20Fr Pont du Gard, all of the souvenir sheets, the 1917 Semi-postal sets and nearly all of the other semi-postals, air posts complete less only the Ile de France set, plus postage dues and other back-of-the-book, as well as some occupation issues and booklets, even a few 20th century imperforate pairs, while the early issues are in typical mixed quality, the 20th century is o.g. and mostly fine-very fine, with some never hinged included; overall an impressive collection.
