Great Britain valuable, voluminous and comprehensive mint and used collection housed in fifteen albums, about half of which are Lighthouse hingeless albums, plus four stockbooks and a large carton containing recent issues in philatelic Bureau envelopes, the collection starts with a range of 1d Blacks, 2d Blues and Mulready entires and continues with later line engraved issues with 1841 2d Blue strip of seven, Maltese cross cancels, covers, perforated 2d Blue plate numbers, 1d red reconstruction, 1d Red plate numbers complete bar #77, surface printed issues mostly used including square 5/- (2), 10/- and a £5 Orange as well as £1 Brown-lilac watermarked three crowns and £1 Green, from the 1887 Jubilee issue on the collection is nearly all mint, with duplicated Edward VII to 2/6, Downey heads complete including no cross on crown varieties, George V with blocks, control numbers and watermark varieties, Seahorses with 2/6 Waterlow, 2/6 and 5/- DLR, 2/6-10/- Bradbury and 2/6-10/- Re-engraved, George VI complete with watermark varieties, the QEII is very extensive and comprised of not only the straight mint stamps, but also cylinder blocks of many commemorative issues, specialized Wildings with numerous varieties and watermark varieties, there is also a plethora of commemoratives with constant varieties as listed in the S.G. specialized catalog, some missing color errors, inverted wmks., numerous missing phosphors, booklet panes, etc., there is also a collection of Machin cylinder blocks and regionals, but no postage dues or officials, the19th century in mixed condition, the 20th century nearly all o.g., l.h. or n.h., fine very fine; plan to spend sufficient time to carefully view this desirable specialized collection.
