1899 (18 Dec.) unstamped envelope from E.D. Bartlett of "D" Company at Belmont Camp to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, marked "On Field Service Stamps nor procurable" and showing Field Post Office 1 c.d.s. (18.12), Cape Town "T" handstamp, London "1d/f.b./b." London tax mark and manuscript "4" due applied in Canada, two different arrival c.d.s. (20.1) on reverse; envelope stains though an unusual destination. Photo
