1904 (Mar. and Sept.) envelopes from Gladstone to Tasmania, each franked at 5d. with the stamps cancelled by "post office gladstone/queensland" oval datestamp and with "registered/gladstone" below (one previously struck "paid at" in error), all applied in violet; 1910 (30 Apr.) envelope from Mount Darry to Toowoomba showing manuscript "70 Mt. Darry" at left and bearing 2d. (2) sharing Toowoomba Registered c.d.s. in blue (rare), an unusual use of the registration service on a local "drop letter", and 1911 double rate envelope (222x102mm.) from Brisbane to England, bearing 1d. and 2d. (2) with c.d.s. in blue
