(x) Palestine Curency Board, a die proof £100, Jerusalem, 10 September 1942, blue and white, the White tower at Ramleh, 'al-Manara', built by al-Malak Mohammad al-Nasser, the second Mamluk Sultan to rule over Palestine (1293-1341), value at centre, three printed signatures of the members of the Palestine Currency Board low centre, Sir John Caulcutt, Sir Percy Ezechiel and E.B.Boyd
(Pick 11c for type, Dabbah p.181), this is the Dabbah plate note. No issued notes are believed extant for the issue of 1942 and most interestingly no other issue has the same combination of signatories. The note is signed by E.B.Boyd, one of the three signatories, at top left with the annotation 'Approved 8/1/42'. Good extremely fine and quite probably unique
