1874 (19 Nov.) opened-out envelope to Denmark, "Via Brindisi, paid right through" bearing 4c. grey block of four and 12c. blue strip of four tied by type 2 "S1" obliterator in blue with a fine strike of "P.D." in red, the reverse with good strikes of Shanghae type Bi c.d.s. in blue, Hong Kong code "A" (23.11), arrival c.d.s. overstruck by part Brindisi transit (30.12); the cover is a little soiled and one of the 12c. stamps is folded over the edge of the cover. A good double rate cover of the 32c. rate via British packet. Photo
