1869 (12 Aug) opened-out envelope to Vienna, Austria "Via Marseilles", bearing 2c. brown and 24c. green tied by a very neat strike of the "S1" type 2 obliterator in black, with fine strikes of Suez to Marseilles transit on red, boxed "P.D.", a faint "P.P." in red and "1/1" rate mark in red crayon. The reverse with superb strikes of Shanghai despatch c.d.s. type Bii (earlier that recorded by Webb), Hong Kong code "C" c.d.s., Paris, Strasbourg and Vienna arrival c.d.s.
