1840 (2 May) number removed, addressed to Bromley bearing a fine strike of "Portugal St/1 py P.Paid" in black and a clear datestamp "P.D./MY 2/1840" with a superb strike of shield on flap "8Nt 8/MY 2/1840"; central vertical crease and some light soiling.
