Straits SettlementsIndia used in Singapore1855 (May) entire (no side flaps) to Glasgow, marked "Via Southampton", bearing 1854 4a. blue and red 2nd printing (2, from different sheets, both cut to shape) cancelled by diamond of hollow dots, one being tied by "paid" d.s. in red and showing framed "india paid" at upper left with, on reverse, framed "singapore/Bearing" d.s. in black struck in error and deleted, and "singapore/Paid" d.s. overstruck by arrival c.d.s. (7.7); the entire with some faults along folds though a rare and most interesting franking. Photo
