1840 One Penny BlackPlate IbCovers1840 (5 Nov.) entire letter to London bearing BB on black with serpentine cuts (private roulette?) on three sides leaving the margins just touched to large and tied by a dark red Maltese Cross, the reverse with indistinct Blackburn despatch c.d.s. in blue and London arrival (6.11); three vertical filing creases and a bend on the adhesive. The contents are a solicitor´s bill. Unusual
