Great Britain Postal History The following thirty-five lots comprise a recently discovered group of letters of complaint addressed to the Post Office. Unless otherwise specified they are the contents only 1847 (28 Mar.) from Admiral Sir Phipps Hornby (1785-1867, Lord of the Admiralty (1851-52), to Colonel Maberley, asking for letters to his son addressed to the Cape be returned, as the son is on his way back to England, endorsed "Answer that I expect this request cannot be complied with" Estimate £ 150-200
