Victoria Travelling Post Offices The South Gippsland Line Using Reallocated Numbers 2 and 7 1899 (29 June) 1d. orange card from Korumburra to Melbourne and cancelled with superb "up train/m.g. 2/t.p.o/2" small duplex, and 1911 (3 July) envelope (complete with letter headed "Cranbourne", stains on reverse) to Melbourne and bearing 1d. red cancelled with fine "t.p.o. 7/up" Commonwealth type c.d.s. Estimate £ 100-120 Note: TPO 2 was allocated to this line in 1898. It previously ran on the Ballarat Line. TPO 7 was allocated to this line in 1898. It previously ran on the Stawell Line. Both these TPOs were the only numbers to be reallocated from the lines they were originally used on
