x British Post Offices Abroad Chile 1869 (3 Jan.) entire letter from Serena to New York, bearing 1867 5c. tied by cork obliterator and overstamped with G.B. 1865 1/- green Plate 4 (defective at foot) cancelled with very indistinct "C30" obliterator, showing Serena c.d.s. over-cancelled with Panama c.d.s. (20.1) with "paid-to/panama" handstamp and New York Steamship c.d.s. (6.2), all on face; a few small faults in places though a rare franking. B.P.A. Certificate (1981). Photo Estimate £ 1,500-1,800
