x British Post Offices Abroad Chile 1855 (14 Oct.) entire letter from Santiago "Par voie de Panama & d´Angleterre" to Bordeaux, bearing 1855 London print 5c. brown-red on blued paper centrally cancelled with dumb obliterator and tied by Calais entry c.d.s. (6.12) in red, showing despatch c.d.s., handstruck "21" (decimes) rate mark and, on reverse, Valparaiso British P.O. (15.10) and London (5.12) transit datestamps.
