x Victoria 1859 (Aug.) envelope from Melton "for Germania via Marseille" (the latter portion deleted) to Germany, rated "8" and bearing 1858 rouletted Queen on Throne 6d. blue vertical strip of three, placed sideways and cancelled with indistinct Barred Numerals, showing London Paid c.d.s. (8.10), oval-framed "pd" and with "aus england per aachen" c.d.s (3.10) additionally tying the adhesives, the reverse (part of flap cut away) with despatch, Melbourne and arrival (9.10) c.d.s.; attractive.
