x India 1854 Issue Issued Stamps Covers To Mauritius and Reunion 1855 (8 Jan.) entire from Calcutta "voie de Ceylon & Maurice" to St. Denis, Reunion, bearing 2nd. Printing 4a. pale blue and red (2, both cut-to-shape with margins all round) each cancelled with diamond of dots and additionally tied by "packet letter/mauritius" oval d.s. (date unclear), showing boxed "paid" and, on reverse, arrival c.d.s. (10.3); addressee excised though not unattractive and a scarce destination. Photo Estimate £ 600-800
