1841-53 One Penny Red-Brown Imprimaturs Plate 76, AA-AB rejoined corner pair in deep red-brown showing plate number and margin inscription; AB with slightly reduced top margin. Both stamps with double letters, the first A of AA is particularly noticeable and AB showing burr rubs down the left side; both stamps showing some bluing of the paper. Fine and attractive Estimate £ 1,800-2,200 22 stamps were removed from the imprimatur sheet, AA-AL, BD-BL and TL (Royal collection) provenance: AA; Leonard H. Clark, May 1946
