W. Hayes, Midshipman.), toned, extremely fine Estimate £ 3,500-4,000 Edward Hayes served as Midshipman in H.M.S. Magicienne for the capture of three and the destruction of two French ships of the line by Vice-Admiral Sir John Duckworth´s squadron off St. Domingo, Dominica, 6.2.1806.
