Great Britain 1840 One Penny Black Plate IV DJ with large margins on three sides and showing a portion of the adjoining stamp at left, touched at left, tied by two Maltese Cross cancellations, in slightly differing shades, to 1840 (10 Nov.) entire letter to Aix La Chapelle in Rhenish Prussia, endorsed "Postage not Paid" with red boxed "Returned for/ Postage" handstamp alongside with "1/10" inserted by hand, red Birmingham datestamp (13 Nov.) and London "paid" tombstone marking (14 Nov.), the second strike of the Maltese Cross possibly being applied after the missing postage had been collected; fine.
