Switzerland - Cantonal Administrations Geneva 1843 "Double Geneva" 5c. + 5c. black on yellow-green, good margins all round, cancelled by crisp red Rosette cancellation and affixed on entire letter from the famous Theodore Barillet correspondence to the Pensionnat Naville, Vervier, red geneve/12/nov/44 datestamp below the pair; a few small cover faults, chiefly confined to the reverse; fine and a most attractive example of one of the great European classic issues.
