x Queensland 1861 (13 Oct.) envelope from Gayndah "via Southampton" to Scotland, bearing 1860-61 clean-cut perf. 14-15 1/2 2d. blue strip of three each cancelled "86" and showing, on reverse, Gayndah, Maryborough (15.10), Brisbane (25.10) and Edinburgh (22.1) c.d.s.; horizontal crease well clear of the strip. A rare franking and the largest known multiple on cover. R.P.S. of Victoria Certificate (2009) stating that the watermark is invisible and that the stamps are either S.G. 5 or 7 Estimate £ 2,500-3,000
