Singapore Covers and Cancellations 1867-72 Issue 1876 (16 Oct.) envelope to England, bearing 4c. rose and 24c. blue-green, both crossed by ink stroke and clearly tied by "B/172" obliterator, showing "singapore/paid" c.d.s. (Type PD8, earliest recorded date) with arrival datestamp on reverse; the envelope with some minor peripheral wear. A fine example of the 28c. rate via Brindisi which only lasted from 1 July 1876 until 31 March 1877. Photo Estimate S$ 500-600
