Gibraltar The Cherifian Posts, (Sultan´s Postal Service) 1893 (Sept.) envelope from Tetuan via Tangier and Bordeaux (both deleted) to Germany, showing a superb strike of the Tetuan Sultan´s Post intaglio seal handstamp in blue and bearing 1889-96 25c. ultramarine neatly cancelled with Tangier c.d.s. (21.9); the reverse with Gibraltar (21.9) and arrival (27.9) c.d.s.; the envelope with central vertical fold well clear of the handstamps, etc. An exceptionally fine and rare combination cover.
