1856, Feb 25. Entire letter datelined in Peumo to Santiago, franked by Second London Printing 5c. vertical pair, predominantly wide margins, cut slightly into in part of the right margin, tied to cover exhibiting three strikes (one partly applied) of the "S.ANTONIO"  straight-line handstamp. It can not be asserted that this handstamp was into force before the introduction of adhesives. One vertical crease partly impinges on one adhesive, not detracting from this rarity. Only five covers known in the imperforate and perforated "Colon" issues, this being unique with this postmark tying the franking. SFC 36. Ex Blank and Menéndez.
