1947, June 6. Cover from Kos via airmail to Alexandria (Egypt), franked on reverse with 10d. on 2,000d. (2), in combination with George II 50d. on 1d. and 250d. on 3d. strip of three, tied by ´´Kos´´ cds´s, showing arrival at base. Vertical crease just impinges on one corner of one adhesive, not detracting. An impressive and rare franking, further enhanced by being mail not originating from Rhodes. Sa. 1, 9, 10.
