10 casks of organic Single Grain whisky were filled in 2000 at the Loch Lomond Distillery, as a result and commissioned by the single minded determination of veteran organic farmer John Savage-Onstwedder. The Grain used for Loch Lomond Dà Mhìle whisky is genuinely organic and produced without aid of any chemical additive. It is the first organic Single Grain whisky in the world to be certificated by Soil Association. This is also the LAST CASK that remaining in the distillery after 26 year of maturation. The cask can be stored for as long as the owner wishes at Dà Mhìle bonded warehouse. Bottling can also be done at Dà Mhìle as they have their own in-house bottling facility.
