"...This Glengoyne have them all, with some big notes of crystallised quince topping the whole. It is not very complex, it is not very bold, it is not full-bodied, but it’s superbly balanced and even if the finish is a bit drying (but I can’t remember a malt that wasn’t at least a little drying at more than 35 years of age) I think the whole is just a thrill."
