Borneo, Indonesia, a group of 5x 'Da Gang Gong Si' tin-lead alloy merchant tokens, ca. 1867-1854, 'He Shun' at upper and lower quadrants on reverse, two varieties of 'Shun'. Merchant tokens were used among the areas under the control of the various mining companies in West Kalimantan, with 'Da Gang Gong Si' eventually becoming the most dominant power until its demise in 1854 under Dutch military intervention. With the company gone, the tokens lost their value and were mostly melted then recast into different objects, hence remaining ones are usually archeological finds. About Very Fine to Very Fine.
