It uses the characters Shou and Yue in the central position, representing an unusual design. Of particular interest is the encircled character 'Yue' on the reverse, an entriguing treatment with unidentified meaning. It is possible that this piece may have been custom made to commemorate a special birthday celebration. Overall, this piece represents an extremely rare and nice example produced by the Guizhou mint.
