Asiatic Banking Corporation, Hong Kong, specimen $500, Hong Kong, 18- (ca. 1880), no serial numbers, uniface, orange-brown and white, arms top centre, value at centre and at each corner,
(Pick 15 for type), PMG 63 Choice Uncirculated. Over the years, branches like Colombo, Kandy, Singapore and Shanghai are usually seen. But Hong Kong issue examples are far and in-between, let alone this highest denomination $500 example in orange. Less than a handful of examples are known. An important piece for any Hong Kong and Commonwealth collector.
