HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, China, obverse and reverse colour trial $100, Shanghai, 19- (1923), no serial numbers, brown and yellow/green (issued example in maroon), reverse orange green/yellow (issued example in purple and green),
(Pick S364cts), PMG 53/55 About Uncirculated (both previously mounted). A very rare colour trial of this later Shanghai issue, interesting the obverse is the same colour as the earlier 1913 type but with different design elements. Lovely example of this rare classic foreign banknote (2)


1923年英商香港上海匯豐銀行壹百圓正反面試色樣票，上海地名，無編號，正面為棕色及黃/綠色，背面為橙色及黃/綠色，而最終版本為正面紅色，背面紫及綠色，分別評PMG 53及55，均有黏貼痕跡，極罕上海地名試色樣票，留心可發現正面與1913年版別使用相同顏色，唯設計大大不同，經典外商鈔票版別，難得一遇之珍品
