According to 'The Red Currency-Research of the Chinese Soviet Republic National Bank', notes bearing the A1934 date are very rare and far more elusive than the normal 1934 date. The highest serial number noted to date is 434066 which might indicate a narrow serial number range. These notes were printed on poor quality paper and are often found in the lower grades despite a short circulation period.
