People's Bank of China, an artist's rendition of an unadopted design for a 5 jiao, 1973, uniface obverse, lilac-blue, serial number I IX V 1973220, textiles factory scene in background, female workers at right, bank title in Chinese at top, '5' in four corners, denomination in Chinese and Pinyin at left, flanked by two red seals,
(Pick unlisted), encapsulated in a PMG holder without a numerical grade. Essentially the same design as the note in red. The colour scheme employed for this note much more resembles the issued version of the 3rd series renminbi 5 jiao note.
