1864 (8 Oct.) wrapper from Hamburg to Hong Kong written in manuscript sent via Hamburg Thurn un Taxis system (c.d.s. 8/10 TH &T), TT38 Van der Linden 2848 (rarity rated 9 out of 12). 1857-66 Accountancy marking FR./2F66c webb type L, Van Linden 1263. French transit Tour T (10.10) rated 10 decimes, Marseilles arrival (11.10). Sent by P&O Ripon from Marseilles on 12 October and Hong Kong arrival c.d.s. in blue (3.12). Two vertical filing creases at sides, one just affecting the type L mark. Very rare Webb RRR.
