Netherlands East Indies token coinage (Indonesia), $1 (1 Dollar) (Pre-1896), NGC MS 61, Amsterdam Borneo Tabak Mij. Marienberg, (Kalimantan [Dutch Borneo]), struck in brass, (R3),
(Sch-1014a), (LaWe-608), ( LaBe 342), (NGC Cert # 5921093-002). Pedigree: Acquired prior to 1977 at the cost of USD$50. The information on the envelope

implies a cost of only ca.$50, but numerous other tokens purchased in

this same period show the same cost. Accordingly it would appear that

a collection or acquisition of a number of pieces simply had the total

cost averaged at $50. Regretfully the real cost of the piece is not

recorded.
