Tientsin: 1916 (17 Mar.) stampless prisoner of war printed envelope registered to Germany, cancelled by a fine strike of Tientsin type 2 c.d.s. and with a good strike of boxed registered Tientsin handstamp struck in blue, censor seal at top and, on the reverse, double-ring "SHANGHAI (U.S. Postal Agency/REGISTERED" datestamp (29.3) in mauve, New York dated ovals and Wilsnack arrival c.d.s.
