1ca. reddish orange variety imperforate between vertical strip of three, two rejoined strips making a block of six (left pane [1/10]), large part original gum, there are two hinges holding the two strips together. Very fresh and a highly important block. Only two blocks of six are recorded, making this one of the most elusive varieties of the Dowager issue. Photo

This block originated in the complete left pane sold in the Sir David Roseway collection in November 1963. this was either pane 7 or 11 from the complete sheet.
The other block of six joins this block on the right side, this was previously in the Sir Percival David, Bernard Stollof, Beckeman and Huang Ming Fang collections
