The Kwang Hsing Syndicate Bank, 2 Tiao, 1912, 'Yang' prefix, vertical format, red and black, facing dragons at upper left and right, scenes from Chinese folktales within borders, similar design to the Qing dynasty issue of 1904,
(Pick not listed), PMG 40 Extremely Fine. The PMG label is incorrect as this is the type of 1912, not 1917. Very scarce. A similar note in lower grade fetched HKD$20400 in Spink China's sale in January 2016 (Lot 590)
