Onward Airmail Transmission from Shanghai: 1949 (24 Jan.) envelope to England bearing $1.45 franking tied by Peking c.d.s., with the grey-blue Par Avion etiquette tied by a good strike of the boxed "Arrived in Shanghai, Airmail Transmission" struck in purple; Hong Kong transit (30.1) on the reverse. Fine. Just underpaying double weight for postage 16c, internal airmail 50c. and international postage 80c.
