2c. on 2ca. green from the sheet with the surcharge centred high, features the positional variety broken top of kun, pane 3 [20], used with a light strike of the Shanghai Dollar dater for 1897 (20 July); a few irregular perfs. but still a fine example of the 'Emerald Lady' showing the date and extremely desirable showing this positional variety. The wide right margin shows that this stamp comes from the right side of the pane. Very few 'Emerald Ladys' can be plated in this way
