The Chartered Bank of India, Australia and China, uniface obverse composite essay for $10, issue of 1911, serial number 0000001, purple and black on dark yellow, bank coat of arms at centre, vignette of a pagoda and sampan at left and sailing junk boat between two mountains at right, denomination at upper and lower boarders, handwritten date '1/7/11' and the Waterlow seal on the cardboard borders, also enclosed are antique engravings for the vignettes used: 'The Bridge of Nanking' (left) and 'Shih Mun (Rock Gates)' in Kiangnan Province,
