1943年湖南洪江寄美國航空封1件，貼港版孫像10分六方連，百城一版孫像10元有齒1枚，銷湖南洪江12月17日戳，郵件經桂林，重慶，美國邁阿密等地中轉，有多地中轉戳，及美國44年2月21日到達戳，郵件途徑銀地被檢查，貼檢查封條，郵路清晰，保存完好，寄信人為常德廣德醫院（今常德第一醫院）第三任院長巴天明先生，收信人是其女兒巴玉華，為美國東洛杉磯學院歷史學教授，著名湖南抗戰歷史專家，曾著有多部相關湖南抗戰史書籍
