The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, $5, colour trial specimen, 1.1.1906, without serial numbers, brown, light blue and multicolour, bank coat of arms at upper centre, water carrier at lower left and sailing junk boat at lower right, '5' at each corner, 'SPECIMEN' overprinted in red and also a blue circular Waterlow seal,
(Pick 161ct), PMG 64 Choice Uncirculated. An extremely rare Waterlow specimen note that is dated before the first issued notes in 1909. Beautiful colour and most attractive.
