The HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation, $5, proof, no date (type of 1888 to 1898), green on pale orange, bank coat of arms at upper centre, '$5' on either side, reverse red, bank coat of arms above trading ships at centre, a pencil comment 'Rexxxx shading' at the left margin, ?an instruction to change the shade of underprint as the colour on this note is different to the issued note which is shown to illustate this, please note the lower right corner was cut cancelled and now replaced by a colour photocopy,
