The Oriental Bank Corporation, $5, 7.3.1879 (printed over the original 1866 date), serial number H64753, black on white, crowned shield between lion and unicorn, panel with 'FIVE DOLLARS' top left and right, bank title and denomination in English at centre and the same in Chinese within the borders, handsigned bottom left and right, ornate guilloche on reverse,
(Pick 267b), original solid fine condition, light annotations on reverse, small pinholes at centre and a small rust hole just above the bottom left signature. An extremely rare note one of the three notes the cataloguer has seen to date and of the better condition compared to the others. An extremely rare offering and missing even in the most advanced collections.
