1897 (22 June) envelope to Shanghai bearing Wide Setting 2c. on 2ca. Second Printing tied by a very fine strike of Customs Soochow c.d.s.; marked in blue crayon "Not at" and with two strikes of bilingual "return/to writer" struck in red, the reverse with Shanghai Dollar chop (23.6) and Soochow arrival (24.6). A very early date for a Soochow cover and desirable with the Return to Writer handstamp. Photo
