The Central Bank of China, 20 cents, 1940, ERROR NOTE with a partial printing of a 1000 yuan from the Central Reserve Bank of China on the obverse, quite a spectacular error printing by one bank on another, the printing of the 1000 yuan rotated by 90 degrees relative to the base note,
almost uncirculated and unusual. One can only surmise that the error occurred because of wartime chaos
