1884 (2 Jan.) Tata gusseted, linen-backed envelope to Bombay "Per Str. 'Pekin'" bearing 1863-71 30c. mauve (2) and 1880 48c. brown tied by ink straight line and "S1" barred ovals and a good strike of type Ci c.d.s. in black, the reverse with Hong Kong (5.1) and Bombay (26.1) c.d.s. and red wax seals; there is a vertical fold and one 30c. with small fault at top. The earliest recorded date of use of the 48c. brown. Photo
