1886 (16 Mar.) Tata linen-backed envelope to Bombay "Per Str. 'Peshawar'" bearing 50c. on 48c. yellow-brown (2) with 1882-96 10c. green cancelled by fair strikes of "B62" with readable despatch c.d.s. alongside, the reverse with Bombay (2.4) arrival c.d.s. and red wax seals; some peripheral rubbing, generally confined to the corners. A good cover which is believed to be the earliest recorded cover bearing these surcharge stamps. Photo
